Frequently asked questions
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes. You own your domain and your content. We manage hosting and maintenance for you while your care plan is active, and full details are in your service agreement.
Why is a care plan required?
A live website needs hosting, security, backups, and updates to stay fast and safe. The care plan bundles all of that plus edits, so nothing gets neglected after launch.
Can you build my site without a care plan?
In most cases we build and manage together, since the care plan is what keeps your site fast, secure, and backed up. If you would rather host and maintain it yourself, ask about a build-only handoff, offered as a one-time project. Just tell us up front so we can scope it that way.
Do you design logos and graphics?
Yes, in-house. If you do not have a logo or need graphics, we can create them as part of your project or on their own. Just ask for a quote.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. Your site is built on WordPress and it is yours, so you get editor access to make changes anytime. Prefer not to touch it? We handle updates and edits for you under your care plan.
Do you only build on WordPress?
No. WordPress is our default because it is flexible, ownable, and strong for SEO, but if you would rather use a different platform or stack, just tell us. We can build on it and work out the specifics in your spec review.
Can I cancel my care plan?
Yes, after any applicable minimum term, with notice as described in your agreement. The $0 build promo requires a 12-month commitment.
Do you work with veteran-owned businesses?
Absolutely. Keelmark is veteran-owned and focused on VOSB and SDVOSB small businesses, with plain pricing and a straightforward process.
Do you offer SEO or Web3 services?
Yes, on request. We quote SEO, local listings, and Web3 setup (Gecko Terminal, DexScreener, Telegram, and more) as add-on projects.
